Just as energy is the basis of life itself, and ideas the source of innovation, so is innovation the vital spark of all human change, improvement, and progress.

Hi, my name is elle

I have recently graduated from Loughborough University with a First Class Honours degree in Product Design and Technology (BSc) and I am now a Graduate Inclusive Design Consultant at BuroHappold Engineering.
I have a huge passion, and that is inclusivity and accessibility. During my placement year, I designed and manufactured bespoke equipment for disabled individuals all over the country. Ranging from sporting goods, to everyday products and equipment for hobbies/recreation.

My main aim as a designer is to assist people in every day life, whether that is through design for disability, medical design or assisting others in their designs to make them more inclusive.
I am certified at level 1 BSL (British Sign Language) and am currently undertaking my Level 2 BSL with ‘Don’t Shout Out!’ I aspire to qualify at interpreter level in the future.
A particular passion of mine is volunteering with individuals with additional needs and disabilities. I have worked at schools, holiday camps and charities (two of which were dedicated to designing bespoke products for disability).

My hobbies include:
